I really enjoyed the CNN's student news program. The entire layout was very organized and I felt balanced for the different sections. There were some serious-toned topics like the Times Square Bombing and also, some very fun and more light stories like the virtual choir and the Capri Sun prom dress. By effectively making this balance, there is more interest taken by the audience. The cover of the virtual choir actually gave me goosebumps. I considered it such a positive spin away from the oil spilling and car bomb. The thought that thousands of people around the world can unite through technology during present times is something that I never really thought of. Yes, I have thought how people can keep in touch all around the world through email and such. However, the idea that a choir for all different people to come together and sing without judgement or even knowing one another just shows how effective technology can really be when uniting the people of this world.
